Anritsu 37247A Vector Network Analyzer

The Anritsu 37247A Vector Network Analyzer has a YIG stage bolt circle, which adjusts the YIG-tuned oscillator to the correct output recurrence by means of the FM (calibrating) loop. The principal recurrence source signal is leveled by a PIN Diode attenuator that is a piece of the Switched Filter Assembly. This attenuator is controlled by the Automatic Leveling Control (ALC) circuits that are situated on the A21A2 Source Control PCB. The contribution to the ALC circuits is the DC input motion from the leveling finders situated in the Test Set Module. Contingent upon the recurrence of operation, the central signal goes through one of four low-pass channels situated in the Switched Filter Assembly. The cut-off frequencies for these channels are 3.3 GHz, 5.5 GHz, 8.4 GHz, and 13.5 GHz, individually. The signals then go through a 20 GHz high pass channel before being steered either specifically to the Test Set Module, or to the Down-Converter Assembly. The signal is changed to the Down-Converter Assembly just when the 37247A is working in the low end bit of its recurrence run. The recurrence of the output motion from the Down-Converter Assembly is 22.5 MHz to 2 GHz for Models 37211A and 37217A and 40 MHz to 2 GHz for Models 37225A or more. The output motion from the Down-Converter Assembly is directed to the Test Set Module. The Transfer Switch is controlled by the A9 Main Processor PCB to set the course of flag stream for the coveted test (Port 1 = Forward; Port 2 = turn around).
