It is an instrument designed to deliver complete measurement solutions for S-Parameter Tests on Passive Devices.

This model is capable of performing swept frequency gain or power gain compression and for the direct measurement of frequency translation devices too, since it comes with NxN multiple device utilities. With the Anritsu 37247E, you will be able to measure E/O and O/E devices by using its photodetector transfer and the de-embedding routine function. The Anritsu 37247E is designed to offer more powerful features and to accommodate higher frequency ranges.

The Anritsu 37247E allows the user to work with a reasonably flexible test port configuration for a variety of passive component test applications. It is an analyzer with an integrated synthesized source, tuned receiver, S-Parameter test set and is ideal for bench testing. It is capable of controlling the frequency of two references and a receiver separately without the need for an external controller.

You can use this instrument for the measurement of complex input / output impedance, complex input / output admittance, complex forward / reverse transmission, S11,S21,S12,S22, analog voltage input etc. In its standard configuration, this instrument can handle CW draw and frequency domains, whereas with Option 2A it can also be used for high-speed time domain.
