Anritsu Lightning 37297E Vector Network Analyzer

The Anritsu 37297E is a 65 GHz Microwave Network Analyzer designed for passive component test applications. This instrument is capable of lightwave component analysis, Millimeter Wave Measurements, Mixer Measurements, and Multiport Balanced or Differential Measurements as well. To make its communication possible with other devices such as printers or plotters, a serial port and a dedicated printer port are available on the rear panel of this instrument. 

This model is the biggest from the 37000E series regarding frequency coverage and is known for its robust applications. The Anritsu 37297E comes with a vast range of choices for calibration from SOLT, waveguide and offset short to the first ever commercially produced calibration kit for Multiple Line designed for metrology-grade LRL/LRM Calibrations.

With this model, both single and segmented lines can be employed for PASS/FAIL testing. After each sweep, the active channel`s PASS or FAIL is indicated on display. For optimization of sweep speed in tuning applications, "Tune Mode" can be used as it allows the user to choose the ratio of forward to reverse sweeps after the completion of a full 12-term calibration. The ratio as mentioned above can be set in between 1:1 and10, 000:1.

Another great feature of the Anritsu 37297E is its blanking function. This function removes all frequency references from the display, and it can only be restored through a GPIB command or a system reset. On the Anritsu 37297E, there are six different but independent markers, which are provided for a quick readout of measurement data. One out of these six markers can be chosen as the reference for the other five.
