Anritsu 54107A Scalar Network Analyzer

The Anritsu 54107A Scalar Network Analyzer has a Frequency Range between 0.001 to 1.5 GHz, Harmonics of -40 dBc, Non Harmonics of -60 dBc, and a Source SWR of < 1.5.

This model includes gadgets on the GPIB associated in parallel. The interface is comprised of 16 flag lines and 8 ground lines in a protected link. Eight of the flag lines are the information lines, DIO 1 through DIO 8. These information lines convey messages (information and summons), one byte at any given moment, among the GPIB gadgets. Three of the rest of the lines are the handshake lines that control the exchange of message bytes between gadgets. The five staying signal lines are alluded to as interface administration lines. Successful interchanges between gadgets on the GPIB requires three utilitarian components; a talker, an audience, and a controller. Every gadget on the GPIB is sorted as one of these components relying upon its present interface capacity and abilities.

Talker: A talker is a gadget equipped for sending gadget subordinate information to another gadget on the transport when routed to talk. Just a single GPIB gadget at once can be a dynamic talker.

Audience: An audience is a gadget fit for getting gadget subordinate information from another gadget on the transport when routed to tune in. Any number of GPIB gadgets can be audience members at the same time.

Controller: A controller is a gadget, more often than not a PC, equipped for dealing with the operation of the GPIB. Just a single GPIB gadget at once can be a dynamic controller. The dynamic controller deals with the exchange of device dependent information between GPIB gadgets by assigning who will talk and who will tune in.
