Anritsu MP1632A Data Analyzer

The Anritsu MP1632A is a compact, lightweight digital data analyzer designed to operate within a frequency range of 50 MHz to 3.2 GHz. It incorporates a transmitter and receiver in one cabinet for performing error detection functions of high-speed digital data up to 3.2 GHz. The Anritsu MP1632A is a low-cost and compact solution featuring a Pulse Pattern Generator MP1652A and Error Detector MP1653A into one chassis.

The model cannot only conduct testing for bit error rate, but it can also evaluate waveform quality and measure burst signals as well. Featured with a wide frequency range, the Anritsu MP1632A is a tremendous tool in R&D, designing, and manufacturing of WDM components, Fiber Channel Systems, SONET/SDH systems as well as digital ICs. Apart from its primary application, this device can also be used for the evaluation of GaAs IC, E/O, and O/E module, high-speed ASIC, and FPGAs.

This tool has robust analysis capability including eye diagram measurement functions and built-in eye margin. For additional accuracy the margin of eye-opening is shown as a bit error rate function, a feature most digital oscilloscopes lack. The Anritsu MP1632A comes with a hefty color LCD with integrated touchscreen-based controls. Moreover, it employs a Windows-based operating system. The customized screens function enables one-parameter and one-key operation easy.

The Anritsu MP1632A can easily be coupled with additional peripherals as it comes with standard video-out and printer interfaces as well. Another one of its dominant features to be mentioned here is its remote control operation, using Ethernet.
