It has 2 channels that support the simultaneous measurements of TRx, which is needed for high-speed cable and connector evaluations, eliminating complex line changes, and time-consuming set up. It features High-Speed Remote Measurements, Simultaneous 2-Channel BERT Measurements, Electrical and Optical Interfaces, and Built-in Clock Recovery of 8.5 to 11.32 G, 4.25 Gbit/s.

To guarantee the accuracy of the signals that transmit through these high-speed devices, all the applications that provide optimum analysis have been programmed into the MP2101A. The Anritsu MP2101A BERTWave PE brings an end to all BER measurement problems. It consolidates the functions of a Pulse Pattern Generator (PPG), bit Error Detector (ED), and sampling oscilloscope, into one device.

A digital signal with editable data transmission speed, and Pulse voyage level is created by the PPG. The ED does a comparison of the received and expected data bit strings in order to calculate bit errors. The sampling oscilloscope displays an eye diagram which interprets periodic signal waveforms. A signal waveform can also be analysed and/or subjected a mask test.

It has a broad operation bit range of 125 Mbit/s to 12.5 Gbit/s. It also analyzes applications and devices that are compatible with STM-1 and 10 GFC.
