CSA7000

The CSA7000 series of Communications Signal Analyzers designed by Tektronix is ideal for engineers who are evaluating designs for compliance to network communications requirements and assessing detrimental parameters such as signal integrity, timing margins, and jitter. Other uses for the CSA7000 series include: design development and compliance assessment for optical and electrical signals, physical layer characterization of communication signals in backplane, midplane, and embedded designs, and optical and electrical signal integrity. A few of the greatest features of the Tektronix CSA7000 series include: the large wavelength optical response, a variety of built-in compliance mask assessments that support many Telecom and Datacom standards, an eye pattern measurements suite, and a TekConnect interface which provides suitable bandwidth signal connection.

The Tektronix CSA7000 series can withstand a maximum 4 GHz bandwidth, store as much as 32 MB memory, a rise time of 100 ps, and has a waveform capture rate of over 400,000 waveforms per second. Each model in the series has four input channels, a color touchscreen, a hard disk drive that can store 20 GB, a CD-RW drive, and a floppy disk drive with a 1.44 MB maximum capacity. The standard operating temperature is 0 ºC to +50 ºC without a floppy disk or CD-ROM drives and +10 ºC to +45 ºC with them included.
