Tektronix RSA5126A Spectrum Analyzer

Designed to operate within a broad range of DC to 26.5 GHz, the RSA5126A is a Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer from the RSA5100B Series by Tektronix. This model has 155 dBm/Hz DANL at 2 GHz and a +17 dBm TOI, providing the user with the dynamic range they require for the most complicated spectrum analysis measurements. There are a comprehensive range of toolsets for signal statistics and power measurements in the standard configuration. The Tektronix RSA5126A can be programmed to trigger on an event, perform time-correlated analysis, and capture a time record of changing RF events.

This model incorporates the patented DPX® spectrum processing technology, which is designed to perform up to 292,000 frequency transforms in a second. The Tektronix RSA5126A features a deep memory, thus eliminating the need for multiple measurements. All signals in any acquisition bandwidth are stored in its deep memory. At 110 MHz, the user will be able to record up to 7.15 seconds, whereas around six hours of recording could be achieved with a memory extension module while operating at 10 kHz bandwidth. With 73 dB SFDR, real-time capture of small signals becomes possible while working in the presence of large signals. This instrument allows the user to store acquisitions in a renowned application called MATLAB™ for offline analysis, regardless of the lengths.

The Tektronix RSA5126A comes with numerous analysis options. In addition to spectrum analysis, this instrument can display both amplitude and frequency changes over time. The user can perform time-correlated measurements across the modulation domains, phase, amplitude, and frequency.
