Tektronix RSA6120A Spectrum Analyzer

The Tektronix RSA6120A is a high performance Spectrum Analyzer, designed to operate in a frequency range from 9 kHz to 20 GHz. This model is ideal for RF debugging applications on Components, Modules, and Systems. This model is also considered as a viable measurement and analysis solution in the Radio/Satellite communications domain and EMI diagnostics.

The RSA6120A comes with a DPX® spectrum display - a revolutionary technology capable of revealing glitches and interference. The DPX spectrum display can also display momentary signal behavior. The integrated DPX spectrum processor can be swept over the net range of the instrument, enabling the capture of broadband transients previously unavailable in other spectrum analyzers. It offers a broad range of measurement functions including time domain and statistical measurements, phase noise measurements, jitter measurements, and advanced pulse measurements.

This model provides different acquisition rates at different acquisition bandwidths such as 12.5 MS/s at 10 MHz and 50 MS/s at 40 MHz. >64,000 records can be saved in a single acquisition, while operating in Fast Frame Acquisition Mode. With standard DPX, this model offers a 48,828/s spectrum processing rate and 201 × 501 DPX Bitmap Resolution.

The Tektronix RSA6120A comes with a powerful, fast updating display device - a 10.4 inch, color LCD coupled with a touch screen. For networking, a 10/100/1000Base-T LAN Interface Ethernet port is provided at the rear end. In addition to this, it also has an IEEE 488.2 GPIB Interface, two USB 2.0 ports, VGA compatible, 15 DSUB VGA output port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio out.
