Tektronix TLA6204 Logic Analyzer

Featured with 136 Channels (including 4 clock and 4 qualifier channels), the TLA6204 is the most potent Logic Analyzer from the TLA6000 series by Tektronix. This model offers 8 GHz MagniVu high-speed timing, unlimited channel grouping, and can capture as low as 500 ps minimum recognizable glitch/pulse width with P6960 probes. This model can handle as narrow as 250 ps minimum detectable setup/hold violation. While operating with P6800 and P6900 series probes, the Tektronix TLA6204 can acquire samples at 2 GHz bandwidth, 10X, ±1% attenuation with ±50 mV, ±2% offset and gain (accuracy).

This instrument incorporates the unique iCapture™ analog mux feature and a low loss, 36 inch, 10X iCapture analog output BNC cable is provided. The Tektronix TLA6204 has dominant trigger characteristics since it comes with 16 independent trigger states, maximum 16 independent if/then clauses per state, maximum 8 events per if/then clause, maximum 8 actions per if/then clause, and maximum 18 trigger events. This Logic Analyzer allows the user to choose from a broad range of trigger action types, including: trigger module, trigger main, start/stop timer, Goto state, do nothing, trigger all modules, snapshot current sample, etc.

The TLA6204 is a PC based instrument, with a powerful 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, 4.7 GB DVD±R/RW optical drive, ≥80 GB Serial ATA removable hard drive, redundant network ports, and 7 USB 2.0 Ports (three in front and four in the back). In its standard configuration, the Tektronix TLA6204 comes equipped with a 15 inch color LCD. However, the user can have the display turned into a touch-enabled screen, but that is an option which can be added at an additional cost.
