Voltech Instruments PM3000A Universal Power Analyzer

Featured with 0.05% basic accuracy and a built-in integrator, the PM3000A is a Universal Power Analyzer from Voltech. This model can be utilized for DC rectifier, single-phase, and three-phase measurements, as well as for harmonic analysis of power, voltage, and current to the 99th harmonic on each phase and neutral. It is one of the best instruments available to work with poor power factors and distorted waveforms. The Voltech PM3000A offers a wide input range on voltage and current from 0.2 to 2000Vpk and 10mA to 200 Apk respectively. This model can accept inputs from external shunts, voltage transformers, and current transformers directly.

For scopes or chart recorders, this Universal Power Analyzer can provide a maximum of eight programmable outputs simultaneously. With this model, the user can conduct a broad range of basic measurements, such as apparent power, voltage, current, current crest factor, peak inrush current, impedance, peak voltage, peak current, voltage crest factor, reactive volt-amperes, and real power, etc. This model comes with a dedicated and powerful microprocessor, which controls the measurements and supervises other interfaces as well.

The built-in integrator on this model can operate within a range of 0.001 W.hr to 100,000 MW.hr. This Power Analyzer is designed and built in complete compliance with RS232, IEEE488.2, and Centronics Interfaces. For automatic or manual printing of results, this analyzer has a parallel printer port available on the back panel. The Voltech PM3000A is designed to operate at 92 to 265AC universal line input and 48 to 440Hz frequency. It can also receive auxiliary inputs, such as frequency and external trigger.
