Yokogawa YHC4150X Field HART Communicator

The Yokogawa YHC4150X is a handheld, HART® Communicator supporting device-specific, universal, and common practice commands for configuration, commissioning, and maintenance related operations. With this model, HART field devices can also be polled, trimmed, and configured through HART communications. The Yokogawa YHC4150X comes equipped with a 128 x 128-pixel graphic display. The 2.6" x 2.6" effective viewable area on the screen offers adequate space to deliver as many as 12 viewable messages.

This communicator is known for its user-friendliness since it comes with a simple yet powerful and comprehensive keypad. There are three basic type of keys provided: softkeys with changing definitions, single, and dual function keys. Each of the single function keys is used for accessing a dedicated function. The Yokogawa YHC4150X features standard banana jacks for all HART related operations. An AC Adaptor / Communication dongle comes standard with each YHC. This dongle is used to power the communicator through AC adaptor when needed. In addition, the supplied dongle also coordinates DB-9 serial communications between the YHC4150X and a Windows based PC.

The Yokogawa YHC4150X Field HART Communicator is specifically designed for field applications and weighs around 1.7 lbs. with batteries included. This communicator offers a maximum 60 hours of battery life using AA type alkaline batteries and while operating without the display`s backlight in service. It has an integrated, user-accessible storage that can be utilized for the storage of around 200 configurations. This model features an adjustable shoulder strap and an elastic hand strap to ensure the user`s comfort at work. Another great feature of this communicator is the capability to have new firmware installed as the vendor releases it.
