Keithley 2400-C SourceMeter

The Keithley 2400-C is a 1A, 20W, 200V SourceMeter SMU designed explicitly for test applications where tightly coupled sourcing and measurement is required. This instrument can also be used as a precise voltage and current source.  The Keithley 2400-C offers around 0.012% basic accuracy with 6½-digit resolution. Since it is an SMU instrument, the 2400-C operates as a source in the first and third quadrant. However, it operates as a sink in the second and fourth quadrant. Thus, it delivers power to a load while working in the 1st and third quadrant and internally dissipates or sinks power while operating in the 2nd and 4rth quadrant.

The Keithley 2400-C comes with a robust sweep profile, since there are three primary sweep waveforms offered. These waveforms can be programmed for either single or continuous operation and the user will find them ideal for V/R, V/I, I/V, and I/R characterization. The Keithley 2400-C has a custom sweep function, which allows the construction of special sweeps. For more comfortable and faster testing, this model comes equipped with a built-in test sequencer (source memory list). This feature enables the creation and execution of a maximum of 100 different tests.

 This SMU can make split Kelvin 6-wire guarded ohms measurements.  The Keithley 2400-C features a digital I/O interface that can interconnect the instrument to various popular component handlers. This digital I/O interface offers signals to indicate the initiation and end of tests.
