Keysight N5101A Baseband Studio PCI Card

The N5101A is a Baseband Studio PCI Card. The N5101A is developed by Agilent/HP/Keysight Technologies. The N5101A has been announced as “obsolete” by Agilent/HP/Keysight Technologies. The N5101A can be utilized with the following accessories: a digital bus cable, GPIO bracket, SMB-to-SMB cables, foam pad, and ISA screws and retainers of PCI cards. The N5101A is installed with Baseband Studio PCI Card driver software. The signal sources and computers should be connected through LAN/GPIB when utilizing the Keysight N5101A.

The N5101A Baseband Studio PCI Card is used for multiple purposes like waveform streaming, capture and playback, and fading. The system processor must be Pentium 4 for streaming, Pentium-III with 800 MHz or above for capturing and playback, and Pentium-IV with 600 MHz or above. The N5101A functions with an operating system such as Windows XP Professional or Windows 2000 Professional. The Keysight N5101A Baseband Studio PCI Card is fabricated as a 64-bit card.

The Keysight N5101A can only be utilized with compatible versions for the PCI slots, such as 2.2 PCI/ISA or later. A minimum of 145 MB disk space should be available for fading purposes by the N5101A. For waveform capture as well as playback function by the N5101A Baseband Studio PCI Card, the free disk space and RAM should be 200 MB and 256 MB respectively. A Keysight N5515C Signal Source can be used with the N5101A card. An important point when connecting the Keysight N5101A Baseband Studio PCI Card is that the PC should be powered off and AC power should be disconnected.
