Keysight M9202A PXIe Wideband IF Digitizer

The Keysight M9202A is a 1-slot, 3U PXIe Wideband IF Digitizer running at 2 GS/s sample rate. This module can be utilized for applications such as radar and wideband signal capture, aerospace and defense, and wireless communications. He M9202A Digitizer has up to 1 GHz bandwidth and an extensive 512 Mbytes DDR3 memory.

The 1-channel M9202A is equipped with a Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA that can implement various functionalities relying upon the firmware type the user selects. The BAS option gives the essential usefulness of the digitizer. However, the DDC option comes with the regular functions of a digitizer, as well as a Digital Down Conversion (DDC) algorithm in the 300 MHz to 700 MHz range. This feature enhances the analog performance and helps decrease the information upload time.

The Agilent M9202A PXIe Wideband IF Digitizer can be used with the Agilent M9392A PXI Vector Signal Analyzer and the 89601 software for a comprehensive signal analyzer solution. The M9202A is PXI Express compliant, which means it can be inserted into a PXIe or a PXIe Hybrid slot.

Keysight/Agilent recommends calibrating the Digitizer every year to confirm the module’s performance. The M9202A can be self-calibrated and externally calibrated.

The M9202A Digitizer can take advantage of a hardware digital down-conversion (DDC) in the digitizer's FPGA under certain conditions. This DDC allows the data to be reduced, making the performance faster and the capture sizes reduced, which increases the maximum duration of a capture by using the memory of the digitizer more efficiently.
