Keysight E6630A Wireless Connectivity Test Set

The E6630A is a Discontinued Wireless Connectivity Test Set manufactured by Agilent/HP/Keysight Technologies. The E6630A belongs to the X Series that is customized for high throughput tests. The E6630A is equipped with one or two transmitter receiver instruments. These instruments contain an RF analyzer and an RF source. The E6630A Wireless Connectivity Test Set is used in combination with the E66318A Multi-port Adaptor. The function of the E66318A Adaptor is to divide the RF downlink signal that comes from the E6630A. These signals are divided into 8 paths of RF output signals. These 8 output paths can be made active simultaneously. Alternatively, the user can also select some of these output paths for activation in whatever combinations the user requires. 

Through a coupler, each one of the paths interfaces with the RFIO ports. This interference enables the RFIO ports to give the analyzer an uplink signal in the Keysight E6630A. The user can also bypass the coupler through a “high power output only” path. On the other hand, the RF’s downlink signal from the E6630A can also be sent to four GNSS outputs with the help of a four-way splitter.

Each instrument is displayed by an individual window of XSA when accessed on a monitor screen or the remote web desktop of the E6630A Wireless Connectivity Test Set. The window contains “left or right” identifiers so the user can recognize the TRX controlled by the window. A specific version of XSA firmware application is required to run the Keysight E6630A Wireless Connectivity Test Set.
