National Instruments ATCA-3671 FPGA Module for ATCA

The ATCA-3671 is an FPGA Module designed for ATCA. The designer of the NI ATCA-3671 module is National Instruments. The ATCA-3671 module comes within a complete kit. Other components of the NI ATCA-3671 kit are an Ethernet cable, the ATCA-3671 manual guide, and ATCA I/O slot blockers. The kit contains 4 I/O slot blockers. Some more optional components may be available within the kit. In addition to the kit contents, other components and accessories that are required for the operation of the NI ATCA-3671 include a compatible chassis, an RTM module for ATCA, a DC power supply, and an external computer.

The National Instruments ATCA-3671 FPGA Module for ATCA is compatible with different ATCA I/O modules such as the AIO-3681 Digitizer, the AIO-3682 Signal Generator for FMC, and the AIO-3691 Serial Adapter Module. The NI ATCA-3671 is equipped with green and blue LEDs on the front panel. These LEDs give a visual indication of the device’s status. The ATCA-3671 also has a GPIO connector. The GPIO connector features 19 pins.

This FPGA Module incorporates 4 FPGAs that are reconfigurable. The FPGAs used in the NI ATCA-3671 module are Virtex-7 FPGAs. The default timebase of each FPGA is 100 MHz. Each FPGA of the ATCA-3671 module features 64 DMA channels. The Inter-FPGA I/O data transfer speed can be up to 1 Gb/s. Each FPGA of the NI ATCA-3671 module has an onboard DRAM memory of 16 GB. There are two DMMs available with 8 GB memory each.

ATCA-3671 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the FPGA Module will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
