National Instruments SMB-2146 Digital I/O Accessory

Featured with 2 Digital Input Channels and 16 Digital Output Channels, the SMB-2146 (Part Number: 781517-01) is a shielded Digital I/O Accessory from National Instruments. This accessory is designed to be used with the NI-5752 FlexRIO Digitizer Module. The SMB-2146 cannot be used for analog signals. The front panel of this device comes with a VHDCI (68-pin) connector and 18 SMB connectors. 

This accessory requires no external power to operate as it draws the required power from the associate module. Both the digital inputs and the digital output channels of this accessory are single-ended. The SMB-2146 weighs around 3lb. You can connect the VHDCI connector of this accessory to the VHDCI connector of the FlexRIO Adapter Module by using a SHC68-C68-D3 Cable or another suitable cable assembly. However, the use of unshielded cables is not recommended for precision measurement applications.
