National Instruments AT-5411 Arbitrary Waveform Generator

The AT-5411 is a high-speed 12-bit Arbitrary Waveform Generator. The AT-5411 is manufactured by National Instruments. The NI AT-5411 Arbitrary Waveform Generator is known for its capability of generating random signal patterns. The NI AT-5411 can be used with the NI-DAQ driver software. Windows operating systems can be used with the AT-5411.

This Arbitrary Waveform Generator is designed with a single analog output channel of 12-bits resolution. The AT-5411 has similar properties to the PCI-5411, except the AT-5411 is only used for the industry standard architecture (ISA) bus. This Arbitrary Waveform Generator is configured to generate random waveforms with an update rate of 40 MHz at the output channel. An important feature of the AT-5411 is that it does not need extra buses for shifting waveforms at the time of generation, due to the availability of deep memory.  

The NI AT-5411 is utilized for various kinds of signal operations. This Arbitrary Waveform Generator has many operational modes like singularity, continuity, burst, and stepping, which could increase the capabilities of generating random signals. The NI AT-5411 has a sampling rate of 610 S/s to 40 MS/s. The AT-5411 has an output attenuation level of 0 to 73 dB. This Arbitrary Waveform Generator is used with a slave bus. This Arbitrary Waveform Generator contains an internal and external clock frequency of 40 MHz. The AT-5411 has three SMB connectors, along with a single 50-pin mini-SCSI type connector.

AT-5411 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the arbitrary waveform generator will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
