National Instruments BNC-2095 Rack-Mount Adapter

The BNC-2095 is a Rack-Mount Adapter introduced by National Instruments. The NI BNC-2095 is built with part number 777508-01. The BNC-2095 adaptor and TC-2095 have similar characteristics. The BNC-2095 is utilized with various modules like the SCXI-1100, SCXI-1102/B/C, and SCXI-1104/C. The BNC-2095 can also be operated with the SCXI-1581. The input/output coupling style of the BNC-2095 is AC/DC.

This Rack-Mount Adapter is designed to handle signaling connection functions for SCXI modules. The NI BNC-2095 can be used for connecting and disconnecting signal methods. The BNC-2095 contains 32 BNC connectors that provide a connection between field signals and SCXI module inputs. The NI BNC-2095 is featured with a 96-pin connector to create a bridge to the SCXI product. The BNC-2095 uses the SH96-96 shielded bus or R96-96 ribbon bus type for field signal connections. The BNC-2095 is constructed with resistors linked between CH+ and +5 VDC. The NI BNC 2095 is made-up with ground-referencing resistors linked between CH- and metallic cover ground associated with the rear of the adapter by switches. The pull-up resistors are used for the detection of open thermocouple detection tasks. These resistors can work by finding saturation from the SCXI module output and the floating signals located at the ground. The pull-up resistors can be enabled or disabled separately for every channel with the switches. This Rack-Mount Adapter is certified for EMC/EMI with CE, C-Tick, and FCC Part 15 (Class A).
