National Instruments BNC-2810 SDA Connector Block

The BNC-2810 is an SDA Connector Block. The manufacturer of the NI BNC-2810 is National Instruments. The BNC-2810 Connector Block is designed to be interfaced with the NI-6810 Serial Data Analyzer. The BNC-2810 can be used in 2 modes. The NI BNC-2810 can be connected with a desktop computer. In the other mode, the BNC-2810 can be mounted on a DIN rail. For this mode, the DIN rail must comply with the CENELEC 35 mm standard.

This SDA Connector Block offers an interface with different types of channels and input signals. The BNC-2810 can be connected with RS-232, RS-485, and programmable channels. A clock can also be accessed through the NI BNC-2810. Other supported signals that can be transmitted through the BNC-2810 are input/output triggers, DIO lines, and output enable signals. An external power supply can also be connected with the NI BNC-2810.

The National Instruments BNC-2810 SDA Connector Block requires multiple components/accessories to be set up and used properly. A computer or PXI chassis is needed to connect to the BNC-2810. Other components include a serial data analyzer and a shielded cable. Compatible serial data analyzers that can be used with the NI BNC-2810 are the PXI-6810 and PCI-6810. An SH6868-DI shielded cable is used with the BNC-2810 SDA connector. If an application requires the NI BNC-2810 to be mounted on a DIN rail, relevant hardware for DIN rail mounting is required.  

BNC-2810 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the SDA Connector Block will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
