National Instruments NI-9214 C Series Temperature Input Module

The NI-9214 (Part number: 781510-01) is a Temperature Input Module from the C Series manufactured by National Instruments. This module comes with exceptional features and operational accuracy, which allows the user to complete quick measurements as per industry standards. The instrument incorporates sixteen built-in channels. It also has a built-in thermocouple module. This module is a high density, which allows the users to input the data for different measurement requirements. In addition, the NI-9214 implements a mechanism for noise rejection, which is for the frequency of 50/60 hertz. It has 16 differential analog input channels with an analog input isolation of 250 Vrms Ch-Earth ground isolation.

The NI 9214 16-Channel module offers extraordinary sensitivity for measurements. It has the value up to 0.02 degrees C. The NI-9214 module has the maximum power consumption of 300 mW in active mode. In sleep mode, the maximum power consumption reduces to 30 μW.

The NI-9214 is run using the NI-DAQmx driver software which is compatible with software packages/application development environments (ADEs) such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, LabVIEW FPGA Module, LabVIEW Real-Time Module, ANSI C, and .NET. The device can be self-tested using the NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) tool.
