National Instruments NI-9344 C Series User Interface Module
The National Instruments NI-9344 (Part Number: 783609-01) is a fully user-programmable, 4-Channel User Interface Module that can be used to quickly interact with a CompactRIO or CompactDAQ system. Each switch incorporated in this model acts as an independent, manual digital input channel for starting and stopping processes, clearing errors, or debugging codes. On the NI 9344, each LED is powered through a digital output channel allowing users to program each LED individually to fetch both diagnostic and status updates.
This model is an ideal solution for deployment environments or prototyping. The front panel of this device comes with 4 User LEDs (LED 0, 1, 2, and 3) and 4 User Switches (Switch 0, 1, 2, and 3). When any channel is programmed to be in the ON state, its respective LED indicator stays solid. Any LED in the OFF state shows that the channel it is representing is set to be in the OFF state. The National Instruments NI-9344 allows users to program LEDs as indicators for their software LEDs. Moreover, with this model users will be able to program the switches and LEDs independently.
This module comes with 4 digital input channels (switches) and four digital output channels (LEDs). The life expectancy of the switches utilized in this module is 50,000 operations.
