National Instruments NI-9437 C Series Digital Module

The NI-9437 Digital Module offers a variety of measurement options and can interact with various voltages and logic levels. This module can communicate with a range of industrial devices and offer input or output digital lines, or an incorporation of both. This makes the NI 9437 C Series Digital Module ideal for a wide array of industrial applications. The NI 9437 further protects the user’s digital I/O application with its sourcing and sinking facilities. The NI-9437 comes with an input power range of 75 mW to 150 mW, input current of 1.3 mA to 1.8 mA, and maximum input delay time of 1 µs.

There are several variations of the NI-9437: part number 783393-01 with Screw Terminal front connectors and no conformal coating, part number 783737-01 with Spring Terminal front connectors and no conformal coating, and part number 783393-02 with Screw Terminal front connectors and conformal coating.

This module is supported in both CompactDAQ and CompactRIO systems and can create user-defined digital communication protocols and high speed counters with the LabVIEW FPGA software. LabVIEW is a high-performance software that can be installed into many devices, including the CompactDAQ platform. Its intuitive graphic features can be used to develop sophisticated measurement, test, and control systems. LabVIEW can be used to develop test applications and measurement in a number of environments, including ANSI C/C++, Visual C#, and Visual Basic .NET.
