National Instruments NI-9475 C Series Digital Module

The NI-9475 Digital Module is a part of the C Series by National Instruments. This enclosed module comes equipped with 8 digital output channels that the user can utilize for direct connectivity to motors, actuators, relays, and many other types of industrial equipment. Every channel of this Digital Module has the capability of sourcing up to 1 A at levels up to 60 V direct current. This module comes with a 25-pin DSUB, an industrial grade connector which offers economical cabling options to a broad range of 25-pin accessories sold by National Instruments and other merchants.

The NI 9475 module features 60 VDC channel-to-earth ground isolation and has compatibility with both CompactRIO and CompactDAQ platforms. Additionally, this module is hot-swappable. This means that it can be moved from one platform to the other without a need for altering the module. This module has Sourcing Outputs and a 1 us maximum update rate. The NI 9475 has two part numbers: 780132-01 and 780132-02. The only distinction between the two part numbers is that the latter comes with conformal coating, while the former does not.

The NI-9475 Digital Module features an output impedance up to 0.14 Ω, an output voltage up to 0.14 Ω, and short-circuit trip time up to 10 µs at 13 A. The maximum power consumption is 355 mW at the most in active mode.
