National Instruments sbRIO-9201 C Series Voltage Input Module

The sbRIO-9201 is a C Series Voltage Input Module manufactured by National Instruments. The part numbers of the sbRIO-9201 are 781113-01 and 781114-01. The NI sbRIO-9201 C Series module is a solid, economical choice for the multi-level voltage applications focusing on operating speed, the number of channels, and analog-to-digital converter (ADC) resolution. The sbRIO-9201 is a 12-bit module with 8 single-ended analog input channels and an input voltage range of ±10 V. The NI sbRIO-9201 module uses a successive approximation register (SAR) ADC. In the sbRIO-9201 module, every analog input channel provides a separate path for signal sampling, which allows simultaneous sampling of all AI channels. The sampling rate of the NI sbRIO-9201 module is 500 kS/s.

The sbRIO-9201 module is compatible with both CompactDAQ and CompactRIO systems. The NI sbRIO-9201 module is available with screw terminal or D-SUB connectors. The sbRIO-9201 module has a built-in protection feature against isolation, which can protect the module from isolation voltages of channel-to-COM and channel-to-Earth ground. Additionally, the NI sbRIO-9201 is capable of protection against overvoltage up to 100 V, due to incorrect signal connection or undesired output to any channel. 

The National Instruments sbRIO-9201 Voltage Input Module offers a sleep mode. When in sleep mode, the sbRIO-9201 module cannot be communicated with and consumes only 1 mW power with considerably lower thermal dissipation compared to Active Mode. The sbRIO-9201 C Series Module is designed to operate in indoor environments but can also be used outdoors if it is installed in an appropriate enclosure and complies with IEC 60068-2-1, IEC 60068-2-2, and IEC 60068-2-56 standards.
