National Instruments sbRIO-9425 C Series Digital Module

Specially designed for OEM applications, the sbRIO-9425 (Part Number: 783950-01) is a non-enclosed, 32-Channel Digital Module from National Instruments. This C Series module has 12V, 24 V digital I/O logic levels. Thus, you can consider this module for applications where industrial devices, switches, relay, transducers, lights, etc. are needed to be controlled. The digital inputs incorporated in this module are sinking type digital input lines which tend to operate at 7 µs maximum update rate. 

With this module, you will get isolation between the input banks and the output banks. You can connect any sourcing output device to the digital input pins provided by the NI sbRIO-9425. The relevant digital channel registers as ON when the sourcing output device connects and starts drawing significant current. Similarly, the channel registers as OFF when there is no significant flow of the current present. This module is delivered with preinstalled current threshold values that allow a channel to be registered in the ON or OFF state. The channel always registers as OFF when no external load or device is attached to it. These features make the sbRIO-9425 a reliable and practical solution for critical industrial applications. 

This C Series Digital Module is designed to draw current from the chassis or to consume power only when required. For ensuring minimum power consumption, the NI sbRIO-9425 has a sleep mode. In sleep mode, the module draws the least amount of power to keep the critical protection circuitries up and running. Communication is not possible with a sbRIO-9425 module in sleep mode. This module is built as a non-enclosed module.
