National Instruments sbRIO-9866 C Series LIN Interface Module

The sbRIO-9866 (Part Number: 785965-01) C Series Local Interconnect Network (LIN) Interface Module, manufactured by National Instruments, is an ideal choice for developing multi-functional applications using the NI-XNET driver. The NI sbRIO-9866 LIN Interface Module performs incredibly well in multiple applications, such as high-throughput bus streaming, hardware-in-the-loop simulation, automation control, in-vehicle data logging, and rapid control prototyping. The sbRIO-9866 module is a non-enclosed module designed for OEM applications. 

The NI sbRIO-9866 C Series LIN Interface Module incorporates a multi-featured LIN port. This port is equipped with an NXP TJA1028 LIN transceiver. The transceiver can support the baud rate in the range of 2400 bits/s to 20 kb/s, featuring compatibility with LIN 1.3/2.0/2.1/2.2 and SAE J2602 standard. The National Instruments sbRIO-9866 LIN Interface Module has a LIN bus line input voltage range of ±40 VDC. Besides, for normal operation, the NI sbRIO-9866 LIN Interface Module requires a supply voltage in the range of +8 to +18 VDC. 

The sbRIO-9866 C Series LIN Interface Module is also equipped with efficient safety features to protect against overvoltage. The NI sbRIO-9866 LIN Interface Module is designed with a protection feature that allows the overvoltage in the range of -40 VDC to + 40 VDC. In the case of overvoltage caused by isolation, the sbRIO-9866 module can bear a continuous voltage of 60 VDC and can successfully withstand an overvoltage as high as 1000 V_rms for a short duration. The NI sbRIO-9866 LIN Interface Module consumes up to 1 W of maximum power during the active mode of operation.
