National Instruments cFP-2010 Controller for Compact FieldPoint

The National Instruments cFP-2010 (Part number: 777317-2010) is a 75 MHz, and 32 MB RAM Controller Interface, specifically designed for Compact FieldPoint. This Controller can be used as either a stand-alone controller or as an Ethernet interface for Windows based, PC oriented distributed I/O. The NI cFP-2010 fully supports LabVIEW RT 8.5.1 and earlier versions. This model comes equipped with two RS-232 Serial Ports and one Standard Ethernet Port (RJ45). Since this Controller has its own processor and nonvolatile storage, users can perform embedded logging, monitoring, and machine control. The user can also download their application onto the cFP 2010 and execute the application while keeping it disconnected from the host machine.

This model offers various features for safe industrial operation, including a broad operating temperature range, provision for backup power supply, hot-swapping of modules, and transient overvoltage protection up to 2,300 V. In addition to Ethernet connectivity, this model offers serial connectivity as well. The serial ports incorporated in the cFP-2010 can be utilized to communicate with other serial devices, including: bar code readers, phone modems, radio modems, far located FieldPoint banks, keypad units, LCD displays etc.  

The cFP-2010 is from the web-enabled class of hardware. Thus, the user can easily communicate and control with the device by using any web browsers. This model also offers static web pages to provide the user with system information. This Controller comes with advanced security features and allows access to authorized clients only. The NI cFP-2010 can be operated through an 11 to 30 VDC power supply. For a battery or backup UPS, an additional set of screw terminals is also provided on this network controller.
