National Instruments cDAQ-9135 CompactDAQ Controller

The cDAQ-9135 (Part numbers: 783688-01 and 783689-01) is a data acquisition Controller by National Instruments. The device has an internal real-time clock precision of 200 ppm. The battery life is approximately 10 years. This lifespan is when the power applied to connectors. Battery life at the stored temperature of 25 °C is 7.8 years. It is further reduced to 5.4 years when the temperature is increased to 85 °C. The NI cDAQ-9135 consists of 4 general purpose counters/timers. They have a resolution of 32-bits. The counters/timers perform edge counting, semi-period, period, and pulse functions. They also enable the Controller to count pulse width and two-edge separation.  

The NI cDAQ-9135 Controller has internal base clocks. These clocks can operate at frequencies of 80 MHz, 20 MHz, and 100 KHz. The device has an external base clock frequency from 0 to 20 MHz.  The base clock accuracy is 50 ppm. The device can be merged with up to eight C Series I/O modules. It helps get a custom analog I/O and digital I/O. It also provides counter/timer and controller area network measurement. The NI cDAQ-9135 has digital triggers with software-selectable polarity. Its voltage range is from 9 to 30 V. The device has the maximum power usage around 46 W.

The screw-terminal has copper conductor wire with 0.5 mm 2 to 2.1 mm 2 gauge. The wire strip length is around 6 mm (0.24 inches). The wire can withstand up to 85 °C. Each screw terminal has torque 0.20 Nm to 0.25 Nm (1.8 lb · in. to 2.2 lb · in.).
