National Instruments cRIO-9032 CompactRIO Controller

The cRIO-9032 (Part number: 784548-01) is an embedded, 4-slot CompactRIO Controller by National Instruments. This model is equipped with 2 inputs. The V1 input can be used for long lines and short lines, as well as DC distributed networks. The V2 input can be used only for short lines. This model has a maximum power usage of 40 W and consumes a typical standby power around 3.4 W at 24 VDC input. A 100 W power supply is recommended for 24 VDC. The NI cRIO-9032 is featured with an 8 GB hard drive. This model is equipped with a 1.33 GHz dual-core processor. The Controller is structured with 2 GB DRAM. The cRIO 9032 is also featured with dual-band, 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi communications. The wireless frequency band is 2.4 Ghz/5 GHz. The wireless capability on this Controller helps the model connect to HMIs and other devices. It can also develop the cloud WiFi for communications.

The NI cRIO 9032 driver software is NI CompactRIO Device Drivers August 2016 or later. The screw terminal wiring gauge on this Controller is 0.5 mm 2 to 2.1 mm2 (20 AWG to 14 AWG). It comes with copper conductor wire. The wire stripped length is around 0.24 inches. This CompactRIO Controller has insulation stripped from the end. The screw terminal wiring can operate under temperature range up to 85 °C. 0.20 Nm to 0.25 Nm torque is required for screw terminals. There is one wire on each screw terminal.
