National Instruments cRIO-9937 Power Supply Plugs

CompactRIO Controllers are reliable, robust and industrial specific embedded controllers with standardization of industrial certifications. There are a number of accessories that can be used with the CompactRIO platform. As far as power supply plugs, there is the cRIO-9932, cRIO-9933, cRIO-9934, cRIO-9935, cRIO-9936, cRIO-9937, and more. The NI cRIO-9937 has the part number 779106-01.

National Instruments designed 5 types of power supplies with different features. The PS-5 is a 24 VDC power supply which provides 5 A current and is DIN Rail mountable. 10 A current can be supplied by connecting two PS-5 power supplies in parallel. The PS-4 is also DIN rail mountable with a 24 VDC power supply, but its current capacity is 0.625 A. The PS-3 and PS-2 Power Supplies are for American and Japanese voltage standardization. The PS-1 is a 20 VDC power supply which can be wall mounted.

These power supplies can be connected with the CompactRIO Controllers with the help of the power supply plugs. There power supply plugs have different features. For example, the cRIO-9932 kit provides strain relief, as well as protection from high voltages. The cRIO-9935 is also a strain relief plug, but with a D-sub solder cup backshell facilitating the custom cable arrangements. The NI cRIO-9937 is a 4-pin male Combicon to 4-pin female screw terminal block plug. The kit contains ten 4-position power supply plugs for real-time CompactRIO Controllers.

cRIO-9937 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the accessory will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
