National Instruments sbRIO-9607 CompactRIO Single-Board Controller
The sbRIO-9607 (Part Numbers: 783816-02 and 783816-01) is a CompactRIO Single-Board Controller. The NI sbRIO-9607 is developed by National Instruments. The sbRIO-9607 belongs to the popular family of CompactRIO products. The sbRIO-9607 can be activated by the NI CompactRIO Device Drivers August 2015. The NI sbRIO-9607 Controller can be utilized with multiple types of application software, which includes LabVIEW 2015 FPGA Module, LabVIEW 2015, and LabVIEW 2015 Real-Time Module. The supported operating system for running the device is the NI Linux Real-Time (32 bit). This Controller is fabricated with a Xilinx Zynq-7000 reconfigurable FPGA. The sbRIO-9607 has a dual-core processor.
The NI sbRIO-9607 is built with ARM Cortex-A9 architecture. This CompactRIO Single-Board Controller has 512 MB of nonvolatile memory and 512 MB of volatile memory (DRAM). The sbRIO-9607 provides a processor speed of 667 MHz, with a flash reboot endurance of 100,000 cycles. The National Instruments sbRIO-9607 Controller is manufactured with an embedded processor that works in real-time. The sbRIO-9607 provides a RIO Mezzanine Card (RMC) connector. This RMC connector is featured with 96 single-ended digital input/output lines. These digital lines are directly linked to the FPGA with the capability of adding a maximum of two extra peripherals and C Series devices.
There is a front panel Ethernet port and an RMC Ethernet port on the NI sbRIO-9607 Controller. This Controller is equipped with eRS-232 (DTE) Serial Ports, RS-485 Serial Ports, CAN ports, USB Ports, and an RMC Connector. This CompactRIO Single-Board Controller consumes 28 W of maximum power consumption with the RMC. It has a typical battery life of 10 years when used with a power connector, and a battery life of 2.5 years when in storage at 55 °C. The NI device weighs 3.069 oz. It has a recommended operating temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C, a storage temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C, a noncondensing operating and storage humidity range of 10% RH to 90% RH and 5% RH to 95% RH respectively.
sbRIO-9607 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
