National Instruments sbRIO-9633 CompactRIO Single-Board Controller

Featured with one RS-485 serial port, two RS-232 serial ports, one CAN port, one USB port, and one SDHC port, the NI sbRIO-9633 is a CompactRIO Single-Board Controller for control and data acquisition applications. This Controller has a Spartan-6 LX25 FPGA and a Freescale 400 MHz CPU fixed on a PCB. The sbRIO-9633 is designed to work with Real-Time operating systems and fully supports LabVIEW RT.

This CompactRIO Single-Board Controller has sixteen, 12-bit AI channels capable of acquiring samples at a rate of 500 kS/s over a voltage range from 0 volts to 5 volts. This Controller also has four 12-bit AO channels and twenty-eight 3.3V bidirectional digital I/O channels. The sbRIO-9633 comes with 256 megabytes of onboard storage. However, you can achieve more data storage by using a USB enabled mass-storage device through the USB port provided on this Embedded Controller.

The FPGA featured on the NI sbRIO-9633 has 30,064 flip-flops, 15,032 LUTs, 38 DSP48s, 5 DMA channels, and 936 kbits of available block RAM. The RS-485 serial port is designed to operate with baud rates up to 460,800 bps in Mark, Space, None, Odd, and Even parity. You can use this serial port for communications in various wire modes, including 2-wire, 4-wire, and 2-wire auto mode. The other serial communication port provided on this Controller is a standard RS-232 port that can provide a maximum baud rate of 230,400 bps.

sbRIO-9633 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the CompactRIO Single-Board Controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
