National Instruments PXI-6515 PXI Digital I/O Module

The PXI-6515 (Part Number: 778964-01, 190318C-01L) is a 64-Channel, ±30 VDC, PXI Digital I/O Module with eight isolated channels (eight banks). The user can wire each input bank in a sink or source configuration. This module is an industrial digital I/O interface featuring programmable power-up states, enabling the user to set up the initial output states to guarantee safe operation when coupled to industrial actuators. To ensure reliable recovery from fault conditions, the digital I/O watchdogs of the PXI 6515 can automatically switch to a secure output state. 

The NI PXI-6515 features 32 source/sink inputs and 32 sink outputs. This model comes with a 100-pin keyed female SCSI D-Type connector, which connects to shielded cables or 100-pin ribbon cables. This module offers 125 mA for all channels per port, 500 mA for one channel per port, and 24 V logic thresholds. Programmable input filters, high-current drive, programmable power-up states, and input filters are a few of its features worthy of being mentioned. The programmable input filters on this model can be used for removing noise and eliminating spikes/glitches. The integrated NI-DAQmx measurement services software can be used to program the NI digital I/O device in different software environments.
