National Instruments PXIe-4480 PXI Vibration and Sound Module
The National Instruments PXIe-4480 (Part Number: 784277-01) PXI Sound and Vibration Module has 1.25 MS/s maximum sample rate, 3.4 Hz, incorporates programming configurable AC/DC coupling, load estimation, voltage excitation, IEPE excitation, and TEDS support. These features make the NI PXIe-4480 Sound and Vibration Module perfect for estimating acoustic transducers, pressure sensors, and hydrophones. Basic applications incorporate sound test, noise, and underwater acoustic estimations. To quantify sudden changes, such as rapid blasts and pressure events, the PXIe 4480 can test up to 20 MS/s for each channel in time domain mode. The NI PXIe 4480 module offers superb powerful range, noise and distortion execution, and synchronous sampling and synchronization abilities, making the Sound and Vibration Module appropriate for many applications including, yet not limited to:

If the signal source is grounded, the user can utilize the pseudo-differential input setup. The pseudo-differential setup gives a ground reference association with the floating source by interfacing a 50 Ω resistor from the negative contribution to ground. Without this, the floating source can drift outside of the regular mode range of the module. If the signal source is grounded or ground-referenced, both the pseudo-differential and differential input arrangements are worthy. Nonetheless, the differential information arrangement is preferred, since utilizing the pseudo-differential input configuration on a grounded signal source makes more than one ground reference point.
