National Instruments PCI-6025E Multifunction DAQ

The PCI-6025E (Part Number: 777744-01) is a high performance Multifunction DAQ from the E Series by National Instruments. This DAQ delivers a sample rate of 200 kS per second and offers 12 bits of resolution, making it an excellent choice for test and measurement applications of all sizes. The PCI-6025E is equipped with software-selectable analog input channels, either 16 single-ended or 8 differential. These channels enable quick data acquisition with DC input coupling. The NI PCI-6025E DAQ is a useful tool for numerous applications, including high-speed data logging and sensor measurements.

The NI PCI-6025E offers synchronization options through both the RTSI BUS and the PXI Trigger BUS in order to synchronize the operation of different devices. This multifunction device comes with two 24 bit counters ready to go with any test setup. In addition, signal conditioning can be used with the the NI PCI-6025E for applications such as high-voltage signal or sensor measurements with ongoing high-speed data logging.

The analog output of the PCI-6025E Multifunction DAQ comes with a multiplying and double buffered DAC, converting digital signals into analog with ease. The device also features a TTL digital trigger, offering rising or falling edge response and a minimum pulse width of 10 ns. Built to withstand a wide range of environmental factors, the DAQ device has a recommended warm-up time of 15 minutes. In terms of calibration, it is recommended that the device is calibrated annually to ensure accuracy and reliable performance. Without the connectors, the PCI-6025E measures dimensions of 17.5 by 10.6 cm (6.9 by 4.2 in.). During operation, the device can withstand a peak functional shock of 30 g, and it can tolerate random vibrations ranging from 5 to 500 Hz.

While National Instruments has announced the PCI-6025E to be Obsolete, the Multifunction DAQ will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
