National Instruments PCI-6030E Multifunction DAQ

Featured with eight digital I/O lines, two 16-bit analog outputs, and a broad range of signal conditioning options, the NI PCI-6030E (Part Number: 777384-01) is a Multifunction DIO, AI, AO, and TIO Data Acquisition (DAQ) card for PCI computers. This model offers 16 single-ended or 8 differential analog inputs at a 16-bit resolution over an input range of ±0.1 to ±10 V. This model can generate outputs at 100 kS/s within the range of ±10 V through its two analog outputs. For TTL-compatible DIO, eight lines are also provided.

The NI PCI-6030E can easily be configured through software since it does not have any DIP switches, potentiometers, or jumpers. For all I/O connections, there is a single, 68-pin male SCSI-II connector provided on this DAQ. The National Instruments PCI-6030E supports analog triggering sourced from AI <0...15> or PFI0. This model comes with a successive approximation analog-to-digital converter ADC and double-buffered digital-to-analog converter (DAC) on its analog output.

As far as its analog output characteristics are concerned, the PCI-6030E comes with a 2048 sample size FIFO buffer and can transfer data in three modes: interrupts, programmed I/O, and DMA mode. The available DMA modes are scatter-gather, demand-transfer, and single transfer. This Multifunction DAQ supports DC input coupling and the maximum allowed voltage on each input is ±11 V of the ground. The overvoltage protection is set to trigger a trip at ±25 V in the powered on state and ±15 V in the powered off state.
