National Instruments PXI-6025E PXI Multifunction I/O Module

The National Instruments PXI-6025E (Part Number: 777798-01) is a Multifunction I/O Module featuring two 24-bit counters, 32 Digital I/O channels, 2 Analog Output channels, 16 single-ended or 8 differential Analog Input channels; and has a maximum sample rate of 200 kS per second. This affordable module offers true DAQ capabilities in a broad range of applications, such as laboratory, automation, design, research, manufacturing, verification, etc. With this module, the user can also add high-voltage measurement and sensor capability to their device through SCXI or SCC signal conditioning modules. The device has 1 DMA channel, with a scatter-gather DMA mode.

The NI PXI-6025E can be used with the NI-DAQmx driver software, which has a user-friendly configuration to help simplify measurements and operating. The device is compatible with software packages/application development environments (ADEs) such as LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Measurement Studio, Visual C++, Microsoft Visual Basic, ComponentWorks, and VirtualBench. For time-related functions, this Multifunction I/O Module utilizes the NI DAQ-STC system timing controller. The PXI-6025E module requires two CB-50LP Connector Blocks for the standard configuration. This module comes featured with a 100-pin connector. A SH100100 Shielded Cable can be used for connecting the NI PXI-6025E to 100-pin accessories and an SH1006868 Shielded Cable for connecting the module to 68-pin accessories. In addition, an R1005050 Ribbon Cable can be utilized for connecting to 50-pin signal accessories.

This module offers a bipolar input range that modulates with the programmed gain. With this module, the user can program each channel with a unique gain of 0.5, 1, 10, or 100 to maximize the 12-bit ADC resolution. As far as its measurement precision capabilities are concerned, the NI PXI-6025E offers 24.41 µV precision while operating within an input range of –50 to +50 mV at 100.0 gain. The National Instruments PXI-6025E can be operated in one of three different input modes, which includes: differential (DIFF) input, referenced single-ended (RSE), and no referenced single-ended (NRSE). The device is equipped with DC input coupling with a maximum working voltage of ±11 V.
