National Instruments FD-11637 Strain/Bridge Input Device for FieldDAQ

Featured with integrated voltage excitation and bridge completion, the NI FD-11637 (Part Number: 785641-01) is a Strain/Bridge Input Device from National Instruments. This 8-channel model is designed for FieldDAQ systems and supports full, quarter, and half-bridge sensors. This model also offers shunt calibration, offset nulling and anti-alias filtering to improve measurement precision by reducing the undesired impact of noise. The NI FD-11637 is designed to provide an IP67 degree of protection, since it is water- and dust-resistant. This Strain/Bridge Input Device can work in locations where the temperature remains between -40 °C to 85 °C.

The NI FD-11637 comes equipped with an integrated network switch and Time Sensitive Network or TSN. Moreover, it has a built-in power supply. Thus, this device is capable of operating with other similar devices, since it comes with all the resources needed for daisy-chaining. Users can program this device with NI-DAQmx– an excellent solution available to achieve automatic synchronization between various FieldDAQ™ devices. The 8 analog input channels of this device have galvanic isolation between one another and to chassis. 

The FD-11637 is capable of simultaneously sampling through all of its input channels and can be synchronized and networked with the devices that support IEEE 802.1AS. For networking, this model comes with two 8-pin M12 type Ethernet ports with internal switching function. The two 5-pin M12 type power connectors incorporated in this device provide 2 auxiliary powers supply lines called Aux 1 and Aux 2. You can use these auxiliary power lines to draw power for other devices on your network.
