National Instruments FP-AI-112 Analog Input Module

Featured with 50/60 Hz filter settings, 8 Voltage input ranges, and 16-bits resolution, the NI FP-AI-112 (Part Number: 777518-112) is a FieldPoint compatible Analog Input Module. This hot-swappable module offers up to 250 Vrms continuous isolation on a channel-to-ground basis and can be operated within a wide temperature range of –40 to 70 °C.

 The NI FP-AI-112 is designed to measure unipolar and bipolar signals within a range of 60 mV to 10 V. This module offers configurable filtration and eight input ranges on a per channel basis. This module does not require an external power supply, since it takes the required power from its host FieldPoint terminal base. Moreover, the user can plug in or unplug the module without causing any disruption.

The NI FP-AI-112 can be considered for a broad range of applications because it is a versatile module. This Analog Input Module can measure 4 to 20 mA current loops coming from standard industrial transmitters and sensors.  With this module, the user can step directly from their industrial sensors or other devices under test. This arrangement ensures hassle-free, high-accuracy measurements.

The FP-AI-112 comes with a POWER (green) LED indicator to show when the power is ON and the unit has passed self-tests. Another LED indicator READY (green) is also provided to communicate that the module is correctly configured and is ready as well. The National Instruments FP-AI-112 requires about 350 mW of power. The necessary power to the module is provided from the network module.
