National Instruments FP-TB-2 FieldPoint Terminal Base

The FP-TB-2 is a FieldPoint Terminal Base with 36 spring terminals for connectors. The NI FP-TB-2 is available with part number 777519-02 and is manufactured by National Instruments. The spring terminals provide a feasible field wiring connection. The terminals on the NI FP-TB-10 are created for 16–26 AWG copper conductor wire with 0.28 in. of insulation stripped from the end. This terminal base has four dedicated terminals and 32 numbered terminals defined by the I/O module. The four dedicated terminals on this terminal base are two V and two C terminals. There is one of each at both ends of the National Instruments FP-TB-10. The terminal base can be used with any I/O module, except the dual-channel modules. The dual-channel modules can instead be connected to the FP-TB-10.  

The FP-TB-2 can be mounted or clipped and locked onto DIN-rails or panels, which makes it convenient to use. Before the complete installation of the network module, the NI FP-TB-2 should not be connected with any of the power supplies. Half of the channels are represented by V channels and half by C channels. These terminals allow a maximum of 10 A current to flow from the terminals. A single terminal can be used as a return path if the current flowing from that terminal is less than 3 A.

The maximum channel-to-earth voltage which can be used for the NI FP-TB-2 is 250 V within the operating temperature of -40° C to 70° C. The pollution degree of the terminal base should be a maximum of 2 that is nonconductive pollution.
