National Instruments NI-5751 Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO

The NI-5751 is a Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO from National Instruments. This module is available under the manufacturer’s part number 781356-01. The NI-5751 module can create a high-speed digitizer. This digitizer supports parallel sampling. The NI-5751 provides high-speed analog I/O for digitization. To interface with external hardware, digital I/O channels are provided in the NI-5751 module.

The NI-5751 module has 16 analog input channels. The analog inputs have a VHDCI type connector. These input channels are single-ended and DC-coupled. The input voltage range is -1 V to 1 V. This module has 14-bit pipelined ADC. The bandwidth of analog input is 26 MHz. The NI-5751 provides a sample rate up to 50 MS/s. These analog channels are parallel, so the NI-5751 module samples all input channels simultaneously.

This module provides online data processing and analog data streaming. The Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO is interfaced with high-performance A/D converters for these tasks. The NI-5751 is used in pair with a PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO. This module can also be used to create instruments with customizable firmware. The Controller for FlexRIo is paired with the NI-5751 to create such an instrument. The NI-5751 module features 8 digital input and 8 digital output terminals. The connector type for the digital I/O terminals is VHDCI.
