National Instruments NI-5751B Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO

The NI-5751B is an advanced Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO from National Instruments. The manufacturer’s part number for this module is 784061-01. The NI 5751B is an updated revision of the NI 5751 module. Therefore, the NI-5751B has similar characteristics to the NI-5751. However, the NI-5751B has increased performance and efficiency. The NI-5751B can become a high-speed digitizer when paired with a PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO. The NI-5751B supports a Kintex-7 FPGA. The NI-5751B module can be used for real-time processing and analog data streaming. High-speed ADCs can be paired with the NI-5751B for data processing and streaming. This module provides high-speed analog I/O for digitization, as well as digital I/O links to interface with external hardware.

The NI-5751B Digitizer Adapter Module for FlexRIO has 16, 26 MHz, analog inputs. These input channels are single-ended and DC-coupled. The input voltage range is -1 V to 1 V.  The NI-5751B provides parallel sampling up to 50 MS/s.  This module supports three clock sources with a frequency range of 30 MHz to 50 MHz. These clock sources include a 50 MHz onboard Clock, Sync Clock, or CLKIN. CLKIN connects via SMB connector and has a duty cycle of 45% to 55%. The NI-5751B module also has 16 digital terminals. Eight terminals are inputs while the other eight are output terminals. The digital terminals have VHDCI type connectors. The digital outputs have a maximum toggle frequency to 1 MHz maximum, with a pulse width of 10ns.
