National Instruments PCIe-5763 FlexRIO Digitizer Device

Featured with 225 MHz of input bandwith (analog) and 4 channels, the NI PCIe-5763 (Part Numbers: 786166-01, 786163-01, 786167-01, 786164-01, 786165-01, and 786168-01) is a Digitizer Device for FlexRIO systems. This device can acquire samples at 500 MS/s while operating with all four channels in an acquiring state with a resolution of 16-bits. The NI PCIe-5763 is an ideal solution for applications where a wideband digitizer with a large dynamic range is required because it offers > 73 dB of SNR. The FlexRIO driver offered with this digitizer supports continuous and finite streaming modes.

The NI PCIe-5763 comes with 8 digital I/O (SE) channels. These digital I/O channels support a broad range of voltage families. You can control the direction of each channel independently with 200 ns latency. This FlexRIO Digitizer Device is offered with three FPGA options. Users can select a reconfigurable FPGA to incorporate in the PCIe-5673 according to their requirements and budget restraints. The FPGAs supported by this FlexRIO Digitizer Device include KU035 (part numbers 786163-01 & 786166-01), KU040 (part numbers 786164-01 & 786167-01), and KU060 (part numbers 786165-01 & 786168-01). The most powerful FPGA that can be used with the NI PCIe-5673 is the KU060 because it comes with 331,680 LUTs and 38 megabytes of embedded block RAM. However, all the above-mentioned FPGAs come with a similar 80 MHz timebase and 100 MHz timebase reference.

The four analog channels on this FlexRIO Digitizer Device are single-ended channels. Each channel can be accessed through a dedicated 50 Ω SMA connector. These channels support both AC and DC coupling. The NI PCIe-5763 comes with a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter as well.
