National Instruments PXIe-7985 PXI FlexRIO MDK Module

Featured with a KU060 FPGA and 4 GB RAM, the NI PXIe-7985 is an MDK Module. This module development kit helps users design and validate customized I/O modules for PXI FlexRIO. The NI PXIe-7985 comes equipped with powerful hardware resources and redundant interface connectors. The FPGA incorporated in this module has 726 System Logic Cells, 663,360 CLB Flip-Flops, and 9,180 kilobytes of maximum distributed RAM. The KU060 FPGA is known for its UltraScale infrastructure and offers better performance, power efficiency, and device utilization. 

With this module, you will be able to design a custom adapter module for various FlexRIO products from National Instruments, such as the NI PXI-797xR. The information provided with this kit guides the users through every step involved in the development of customized adapter modules. The software resources include various generic examples and design files. The drawings and layouts are offered in standard .dwg and .dxf format. Thus, you can use all these resources with your design tools.

The National Instruments PXIe-7985 PXI FlexRIO MDK Module has two power rails: +3.3 V and +12 V. Moreover, the module has a configurable Vcco rail adapter module and FPGA I/O banks. This module is known for its robust data streaming and data movement capabilities, since it comes with separate GTH transceivers for data movement and data streaming. For data streaming, there is a total of 4 GTH transceivers provided, whereas 8 GTH transceivers perform all tasks related to data movement.

PXIe-7985 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the PXI FlexRIO MDK Module will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
