National Instruments PXIe-1435 Frame Grabber Module

The PXIe-1435 (Part Number: 781699-01) is a Frame Grabber Module with exceptional capabilities to fulfill image acquisition requirements. The PXIe-1435 Frame Grabber Module supports various configuration modes for operation, which includes: Base, Medium, Full, and Extended Full modes. The supported camera standard for these modes of operation is Camera Link 1.2.  This model also has the built-in capability to support Power over Camera Link (PoCL). This module offers a high data throughput capability of 850 MB per second. It enables users to use it for many industrial applications involving machine vision and scientific imaging. The PXIe-1435 module is additionally suitable for life science and biomedical image applications.

The PXIe-1435 Frame Grabber Module comes with two built-in channels. These two channels are isolated optically. The channels feature an exceptional pulse rate and pulse detection capability. Their maximum value is 100 kHz and 10 s respectively. The instrument comes with a built-in Quadrate Encoder. The maximum count rate of the encoder is 5 MHz. The pixel clock frequency range of the PXIe-1435 is 20 MHz to 85 MHZ.

The physical dimensions of the NI PXIe-1435 are 6.3 x 3.9 inches. The instrument weighs around 180 grams. It also has four built-in I/O lines to implement the mechanism for an external trigger. The maximum pulse rate for an external trigger is 2 MHz. There is a wide range of baud rates for the serial interface. These supported rates are 9.6, 19.2, 38.4, 57.6, 115.2, 230.4, 460.8, or 921.6 kbps. It further enhances the operational capabilities of the instrument.
