National Instruments IC-3172 Industrial Controller

Featured with four Gigabit Ethernet Ports, two USB 3.0 Ports, and a Dual-Core Intel Core i5 Processer, the NI IC-3172 (Part Number: 784228-01) is a fanless Industrial Controller. This model is an ideal solution by developers who need a high level of connectivity and processing power for control and automation applications in extreme operating environments over a temperature range of 0 °C to 55 °C.  

The IC‑3172 offers connectivity for synchronization and communication to Ethernet, CompactRIO Chassis, and EtherCAT, GigE Vision cameras, USB3 Vision cameras, motion drives, and other automation equipment. Additionally, this model has integrated, isolated TTL, as well as differential digital I/O. Thus, it can offer control and synchronization tasks with the need of any additional tethered I/O.

The processor incorporated in this Industrial Controller offers 1.8 GHz base frequency, 2.9 GHz maximum frequency, and has 3 MB on-die cache. This model is designed to operate on the 64-bit National Instruments NI Linux Real-Time operating system. The NI IC-3172 is equipped with 8 GB, DDR3L type preinstalled system RAM that can operate at a rate of 1600 MT/s. 

The National Instruments IC-3172 has a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz for the two DisplayPorts. The RJ50 type serial port incorporated in this Industrial Controller offers a maximum baud rate of 115,200 bps and can be operated in the following modes: 2-wire, 4-wire, or 2-wire auto mode. This Industrial Controller can be utilized with the NI PS-15 power supply.
