National Instruments NI-3100RT Industrial Controller

Featured with an integrated Celeron processor and 1 Gigabyte of RAM (random access memory), the NI-3100RT (Part Number: 780309-33) is a Real-Time Industrial Controller from National Instruments. This modular PC comes with the required hardware and software resources to support the most demanding applications and comes with a real-time operating system. In process, manufacturing, and other industrial environments, real-time based control is necessary. Real-time operating systems are designed and programmed to process data as it is received. Thus, only a powerful computer or controller qualifies to operate as a real-time controller in critical applications.

The NI-3100RT is offered with preloaded LabVIEW Real-Time OS and features a 1 GB SSHD (solid-state hard drive) to ensure fast processing. This Real-Time Industrial Controller incorporates a 1.06 GHz processor and a dedicated graphics controller. The National Instruments NI-3100RT Real-Time Industrial Controller supports dual monitors, so you can get the display on two monitors using the DVI-I connector provided on the front panel. Another valuable feature of this device is the MXI x1 capability to which you can attach external peripherals.   

This Real-Time Industrial Controller offers dual gigabit connectivity and has Ethernet ports that support 10 to 1000 Mbit Ethernet connections or interfaces. You can easily connect your NI-3100RT with other devices and networks through Ethernet. Besides this, the availability of serial communication ports and USB ports is something that can bring almost endless integration options. This rugged computer is designed to be operated with an external power supply through a 3-pin power connector and requires a minimum 60 W rated power supply.

NI-3100RT Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Industrial Controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
