National Instruments PCI-6233 Multifunction DAQ

The National Instruments PCI-6233 (Part Number: 779619-01) is a 24 V DIO Sinking, 16 AI Multifunction, 16-Bit, 250 kS/s Data Acquisition Device. This model comes with two 0 to 20 mA Analog Outputs with up to 500 kS/s update rate. This model has 4 digital output channels as well. These digital output channels can be used for either 5 V TTL/CMOS or 24 V (sourcing or sinking) operations.

The NI PCI-6233 features a programmable input range (±10 V, ±5 V, ±1 V, ±0.2 V) per channel, as well as selectable debounce filters per-channel for programmable power-up states and digital input lines. This DAQ device is fully compatible with almost all leading software programs of the industry, including: ANSI C, Measurement Studio, LabVIEW, etc. The user can install this model in any PCI enabled computer running on Microsoft Windows 7 (maximum) or Real-Time OS. The digital isolation technology incorporated in this device offers increased signal bandwidth and prevents ground loops. Moreover, the 60 VDC bank isolation ensures safety and protects operators as well as equipment from high-voltage transients.

The National Instruments PCI-6233 Multifunction DAQ comes with programmable or user-defined power-up states- a feature that ensures safe startup operation, especially when connected to motors, relays, valves, and pumps. With this DAQ device, the user can configure each digital channel as low output or high output. The NI PCI 6233 stores the settings in an integrated nonvolatile memory and employs the power-up state immediately when power is supplied.
